Jia
Thompson is the owner of JIA’s Dream Tours, a tour company
that specializes in tours to China.
Jia
is a tourism veteran with over ten years experience in the Chinese
Tourism industry. Jia has worked with the some of the most prestigious
clientele from all over the world. Jia has established a network
of tourism contacts that extends from China throughout the world.
Jia
holds a BA degree in Tourism from Beijing Tourism University and
an MBA from San Jose State University. Jia is also an Adviser for San Jose State University International and Extended Studies China Programs. Jia has been selected by
the Dean to be featured in the national ad campaign for the San
Jose State University College of Business graduate program for
the past several years.
Jia
is fluent in both English and Mandarin and has served as both
an English and Mandarin language instructor at Berlitz Language.
Jia is also currently giving lectures on Chinese history and culture
to groups and organizations. Jia has also served as Emcee for
several International Business and Technology Conventions in Beijing.
Jia
comes from a very distinguished family background. Her father
is a famous Fourth Generation Traditional Chinese Medical Doctor
specializing in Acupressure, who has treated over 30,000 patients
from all over world. He has had articles written about him in
eight different languages and many countries. This special family
background infused Jia’s vision to make JIA’s Dream
Tours a cultural bridge across the world!
